Lessons from the Singapore cohorts showcase symposium—open call for collaborations

The Singapore Cohorts Showcase symposium was held in Singapore on Sep 19, 2022. The aim of this symposium was to highlight ongoing and planned activities towards the phenotyping of various Singapore population cohorts, and to showcase existing phenotyping capabilities. We wanted to bring together scientists representing diverse disciplines, including epidemiologists, clinical researchers and basic and translational science researchers. By that we sought to facilitate the establishment of research networks focusing on cross-sectional, longitudinal or interventional studies using different omics approaches, with a focus on Asian population cohorts. Next to clinical phenotypes we were interested in deep molecular phenotyping including proteomics, metabolomics and lipidomics.
