We are grateful to the authors of this Letter to the Editor for their engagement with our research and consider their correspondence important. The authors initially raised two questions regarding the impact of the differences in the background and surgical outcomes between genders on lipid metabolism following lumbar spinal surgery. Subsequently, they highlighted an issue on the impact of the differences in surgical techniques on lipid metabolism. Their advice was valid, and we believe that it will further elevate the level of our research. As suggested, we have conducted a re-analysis using our data. We would like to respond to their questions and state our considerations. …
